Experience the Artistry of Upcycled Designer and Vintage Textiles
At Sausalito Blue, we believe clothing is more than something you wear—it’s a form of expression, a piece of living art. Every garment is thoughtfully designed using high-quality reclaimed materials, breathing new life into textiles that carry history, texture, and soul.
Each piece is meticulously crafted in limited runs, ensuring a level of exclusivity and artistry that mass production can never achieve. The materials guide the design process, resulting in unique silhouettes and details that celebrate the beauty of imperfection. No two pieces are ever identical—each carries its own character, shaped by the fabric’s journey and our hands.
We reject disposable fashion in favor of a process that values craftsmanship, sustainability, and creative reinvention. By sourcing reclaimed designer and vintage textiles and constructing each piece with care, we ensure that our work is both environmentally responsible and artistically compelling. Every stitch is a step toward a future where fashion is not wasteful, but regenerative.

How to Care for Wearable Art
We take great care in thoroughly cleaning all materials before and after the upcycling process, so frequent washing isn’t necessary. If your garment does need cleaning, follow these recommendations to preserve its character:
• Hand wash only in cool water with a small amount of detergent.
• Avoid machine washing unless using a delicate cycle with a gentle spin.
• Air dry inside out on a rack or hanger to maintain fabric integrity and color vibrancy.
• Do not tumble dry—heat can alter the texture and structure of the reclaimed materials.
Our garments, crafted from deadstock designer fabrics, are pre-washed to remove any factory residue and ensure accurate sizing.
If you have any questions about caring for your piece, feel free to reach out at info@sausalitoblue.com. We’re happy to help!

"I get stopped every time I wear this!"
I don’t know what kind of magic Sausalito Blue puts into their clothes, but every time I wear my upcycled jacket, someone stops me to ask where I got it. It’s the perfect mix of cool, effortless, and one-of-a-kind. Plus, knowing it was made from reclaimed fabrics just makes it even better. Sustainable and stylish? Yes, please.

"Worth every penny!"
I used to think sustainable fashion meant overpriced or boring. Sausalito Blue changed that real quick. The quality? Insane. The fit? Perfect. And the fact that no one else will ever have the same exact piece? I’m hooked. I already have my eye on another jacket.

"Fashion that feels good."
I’ve been trying to shop more consciously, but I still want my clothes to feel like me. Sausalito Blue nailed it. The designs have so much personality, and knowing I’m wearing something that would’ve otherwise ended up in a landfill makes it even more special. It’s fashion with a story, and I love that.
